Yo Chipsters! Here is our latest release in case you missed it, 2A0X is the new alias from Henry Homesweet dedicated to explore a more minimal and live approach of his electro and chiptune sound.

This recording was produced with only a Roland TR-808 Drum-machine and a Nintendo NES running the MidiNES Software. Super Fat-Electro-Chiptune sound! Check it out! Also available on High-Bias Chrome Type-II Cassette at the Bandcamp store.

Produced with only an Atari ST and the legendary TR-808 drum machine, here is Henry Homesweet’s 5th EP on Bleepstreet called “Luke’s Atari”.

Here is the EP we have been so eagerly waiting for. “A for Amiga” is a 7 track EP that should be viewed as an ontological musical work of the Golden Age of the Commodore Amiga scene. We really believed these days were over, but here is an artist that doesn’t need to be in the 90s anymore to be able to do proper, and we mean it, really good oldskool scene music. Getting away from the monotonous and predictable Techno sound of today he seduces us with Rainbow-Multi-layered harmonies and kaleidoscopic Synth leads that drive this EP into a non-stop explosion of incredible musical ideas. Not only brilliant from the Harmonic point of view, cTrix is also a versatile drum programmer. It’s an EP that tells us that this man knows everything about the Amiga scene and that there is little you can do about it.

With styles ranging From Prog-jazz to Retro-synthpop, this EP will definitely bring you back to the Sound of the computing underground of the 90s.

cTrix comes from Australia and has been an avid Amiga tracker since the age of 12 and thrives on its limitations. He drives a rough & crunchy sound covering styles from Synthpop to 90′s rave. His music has been described as: “a phat and chunky combination exploring many styles”.He recently invented the gAtari (an Atari strapped like a guitar), and has played in almost every important Chip stage from New York to Tokyo to Amsterdam.

Ready for some Chip-Bass? We start the year 2011 with the debut release on BLEEPSTREET by 486 also known as the486kid.

486 is a true inspiration in the current Chipstep sound. His music is inspired by the early 90's Scandinavian Demoscene and developed through travelling with Technomadic Sound systems of the wild woods of Cascadia.

“4bit 4reedom” is the EP that brings us 10 years of research and production of pure digital soundwaves generated from hardware soundchips or samples recorded live through mid-90's sound cards. After all this time he has come out of his cave and ready to share his dedication for Dub and Lo-tech music.

The 4-track EP, features a selection of tracks from 486's Nintendub sessions(2010). The EP was produced entirely in a solar powered mobile studio using a combination of vintage Samplers, Atari computers and modified NES consoles to get the ultimate Squarewave Chip-Bass experience.

The EP begins with “Independent Dub”, a trip through a fluid and wobbly chipstep tune that pushes digital-bass programming skills into the next level. Following in the mix we get to “Gangstahz” a true GhettoChipDubFunk styled track that will bring the bad boys to the front row. More wobbly bass and chipstep sound for the DJ with “SQR Dub”. The impression you get is that the tracks flow freely and sweetly into one another, giving a lasting chilled vibe that concludes with “2A03 Dub” a landscape of dreamy and hypnotic chip-dub.
