I just noticed that that the album hit number one on Bandcamp for the hour.  Thanks to everyone that donated!  Childs Play and kids in hospitals will be very happy. smile

As for Heossentials shows, that's up to Heos. He has an open invitation to be on Noise Channel - I love having him on with me and the listeners do too.

The art is done by someone in Japan who goes by the name of Kabakism.  He's very active in the Japanese chiptune scene when it comes to making fliers and organizing events.  He also draws some adorable futanari.  His twitter handle is @kabakism - if you like the art, please let him know!

Hello!

Noise Channel Radio has organized a compilation chiptune album titled NoiseChan & Nugget: Adventures in Chiptunes.  The album is released on Ubiktune and available as 'pay what you want' on Bandcamp.

All profits made from album sales will go directly to the Child's Play charity organization.  So while you are welcome to download it for free, it's encouraged to donate a few bucks to the charity.

Check out the album as well as the atists page to learn more about them!

Hey Everyone!

Noise Channel has been working on a compilation album for almost a year and we're finally ready to release it.  In celebration, we are hosting a pre-release party on Arecibo Radio's Noise Channel Radio.

The album is titled 'Noisechan & Nugget: Adventures in Chiptunes' and will feature all new tracks from chiptune artists from all over.  It will be released on the Ubiktune label and available via Bandcamp for 'pay what you want'.  However, all money made from album sales (minus 10% for Bandcamp) will go directly to the Child's Play Charity.

Your support in either attending the event or spreading the word would be really appreciated! Here is a link to the Facebook event

Thanks for tuning in!  It was a lot of fun and it looked like the listeners enjoyed it to,despite my drunken screwups.

Again, thank you Heos for putting up with me.

Yeah, thanks for reminding me.  I need to do that like...today.  I don't need to pass that physics midterm anyway.

Hi chidey!

jmr is correct.  The song at 3:50 is the theme song for the Noise Channel show.  Jake 'virt' Kaufman wrote it specifically for the show and there are currently no plans to expand on or release the track.  The other song is, as jmr correctly guessed, is Staring At My Spaceship by virt.

Thanks to jmr for the assist and thank you for listening to the show chidey. smile

We just aired our first Nugget's Choice Award show. I invite everyone to listen for a bit just so you can get an idea of the kind of mood we're setting.  virt ripped his pants on AND fell backwards out of his chair over the air.  Yeah.  Enjoy. smile

Noise Chan's Nugget's Choice Show

Also, a Nugget yiff toy is an amazing idea. *writes it down*

Oh hai.

Yeah, I just want be to very clear that this whole 'Nugget's Choice' thing is purely for fun and not based on any set of standards.  If anyone is taking it remotely seriously, you're doing it wrong.  This is what happens when you watch a lot of WWE and start to imagine your favorite chiptune artists fighting for a shiny belt.

In fact, I'm pretty sure virt will only talk like a sports announcer during the show and he has taken to calling me Bob.  Really, we're making a huge mockery out of this because we can.

There will be a Nugget related prize going to the winner. It's not a photo, but that was actually a really close guess.
