Hello!
I'm the composer and co-creator of Salamander Leviathan, a bitpop musical which will make its world premier run in New York this November. [edit: our premier has been postponed. Instead, we are doing a fundraising event for a 2013 debut: http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/9332/ … yn-event/] As part of our promotional efforts, we want to reach out to the chiptune community and collaborate to release an album of remixed songs from the play.

We intend to release the album digitally and possibly as part of an app or website. It's possible the the album will not be sold, in which case we would not be able to pay you for the remix, but we will provide full credit! If we do decide to sell it, we will make you an offer.

Some quick artistic notes: I see this album as being "dance mixes" of songs from the musical. I'm doing a lot more of an electronic sound than normal and want to aim for minimalism in the overall sound. Of course, I will totally respect the artistic choices of my collaborators in all cases.

For an example of the project in it's early form : www.salamanderleviathan.com

Thanks for reading this! Hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,
Barry Brinegar
