I do not know much about what dubstep is but I hear that Burial is dubstep http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv7N9wf42cs
I think he got tagged as being dubstep becuase it's on hyperdub, to me it's a lot more ambient/2step. Really lush, one of my all-time fave artists.

just tried that one paroxysm, tends to 'squeak' when I put the kill on A in the table, changing it to 9 did the trick.

The melody portrayed is very lineal (note, empty, note, empty etc), what if it isn't? What if the third step lands on another note? (trying to squeeze the most out of this tutorial for tha people )
not sure if i'm following you correctly, could you post an example?

Re: LSDJ - Huge wave kicks please! (51 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
mine's an (admitedly basic) variation on one usk uses, but I still can't seem to get the lovely rolloffs he creates with them.
The other problem I have with my kick is that the rest of the mix needs to be brought down a lot, any idea on how to bring the vol up without ruining its dynamic?

Re: LSDJ - Huge wave kicks please! (51 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
tried em both, bleepshit's is a bit more like it but there's not really any sub kickin! andy - i used to use a pulse kick that sounded like that, kinda defeats the object of using the wave channel's ability to pack punch

Re: The Football Thread (139 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I was just talking with Ary about how much more intense European sports are to American sports. Here people don't really have 'state' pride, America is the same all over really unless you're in a huge city - if not by geography, certainly by culture (and that doesn't even get into players being traded etc./free agents). Always been jealous of European sports because for instance when France plays Germany there is actually some fucking history there!
Oh look its Tampa Bay, Florida VS. St. Louis, who cares?
Maybe thats why American nerdbros hate sports, its just common sense over here haha.
that's actually the reason I dislike a lot of sports here. Having pride in your town/city/country is a good thing, unfortunately a lot of 'fans' use that as the reason to incite hatred and violence. Having lived among it in of the most violent places (Glasgow), hooliganism is not clever.
