So, if I understand correctly bookmarks and filters are the key.
When I find a good song, I want to add it to my favorites.
In order to do that, I just have to bookmark the page where I am.
Example: I go to the http://chipmusic.org/poisoncut/music/starfighter-104 webpage for the starfighter-104 song.
Then on Firefox, I do Bookmarks > Bookmark This Page... (or Ctrl+D).
An other thing is that if I find a member doing a lot of nice songs, I want to subscribe to him.
In order to do that, I just have to bookmark the page where I am.
Example: I go to the http://chipmusic.org/poisoncut webpage for the poisoncut artist.
Then on Firefox, I do Bookmarks > Bookmark This Page... (or Ctrl+D).
Now, when I need to view my favorite songs and subscribed artists I just have to use filters.
In order to do that, I just have to go to http://chipmusic.org/music then select:
1) "Music you've bookmarked" if I want to view my favorite songs
2) "Artists you've bookmarked" if I want to view my subscribed artists
After that, sometimes I may need to remove a song from my favorite songs or a member from my subscribed artists.
In order to do that, I can use my Firefox browser Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks... (or Ctrl + Shift + O) menu or use a button "Remove Bookmark" on the bookmarked page on the chipmusic.org website.
This "Remove Bookmark" button is only available on a song page (not on an artist page).
I am wondering why.
Any idea?
Also, I don't know why a website like chipmusic.org that is using bookmarks does not provide an "Add Bookmark" button on the song pages.
Indeed, that's not obvious at all (at least for me) that bookmarks are the key to manage favorite songs and artist subscriptions.
Do you plan to add this feature?
