I am just looking for a few good resources to learn more about mixing down and the right tools I need to learn. I hate that when I finish my tracks they are quiet and not right. The instrumentation is how I want it the quality is not though. A more recent attempt at making my tracks sound better came out like this

https://soundcloud.com/weazelbright/new-bear

it is far to loud i think and just so much sounds wrong sonically. I don't know where to start on what I need to learn.

PS It is not a chiptune. I just like to use chiptastic sounds in my tracks.

Thanks in advance for any help you wonderful people give me!

Either your PayPal receipt or a photo ID with the name you used to buy your ticket.  Or, ya know, whatever.  If you bought a ticket we'll figure it out!  smile

Will 2 Double High Fives at the door be an acceptable form of ID?

but really. Thanks!

I just bought my ticket. Do I need to just show my ID at the door because I don't think I got an actual ticket.

This seriously made my day.

Also this deal is badass! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for listening. I actually just picked up an Akai TB-3 and I have been trying to figure out what I want to do with it. I will be using it for bass when I get to working on stuff here soon.

Can I get some links to badass chip music sets you all enjoy. I tried searching on here for a thread about this and did not find anything. I just am interested in seeing some awesome videos of people performing. Thanks in advance!

I make things with Ableton and I like to have a chip feel in some aspects. I am looking for CC on if the songs sound like they are moving. I hope that makes since. I have had a problem in the past with things just being to static and I want the song to progress more naturally. Ideally I would like to have some rap vocalist to work with, but I don't have anyone at the moment. These may not even be suitable to be rapped over in their current state. It is just ideally. Also finally have internet again, nice to be back on here.

Here are the links to both songs. I hope you enjoy let me know what you think.

I will be at this. I will love it.

Thanks a ton! I messaged him.

Here is the link I saw about this on!

This is my favorite thing on the internet. Ever.

Gotcha I am going to look through for loops. I never get on beatport and I had no clue they even had things other than releases. Thanks for showing me that.

That is $24 though. I only have $10 on the card. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I found a gift card that I got with my Traktor Kontrol S4 and I have no clue what I should download. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
