Topic: Yamaha SU700 for Trade. (traded) (12 replies, posted in Trading Post)
Just bought a Yamaha SU700 off of ebay for $230 only to find out that it has the dreaded encoder problems that a lot of them suffer from. It's not really a problem if you want to use it in the studio as you can assign the ribbon controller to any of the encoders with the push of a button. It makes for a great FX box and a badass oldschool sampler. I wanted to use it for live use so It's basically useless for my setup and I don't feel like dealing with the person I bought it from anymore so I'm willing to trade it for any sane offer. Mainly looking to get a modded DMG and cart so I can MIDIfy it and add it to my equipment. I also maxed out the sample ram on the SU700 to 68MB (4MB onboard and 2 32MB sticks). If you don't mind using workarounds for the encoders my loss can be your gain!
thanks
Corey

I'm honestly looking to get a Shruthi as soon as I can so I am willing to do $600. Call it a flash sale if you will.

I have my one month old and rarely used OP-1 for sale. It is in mint condition and includes all the accessories in the back to school sale + the guitar strap kit. the screen has had a perfectly aligned screen protector on since day one. All the original packaging will be included as well. I'm asking $700 shipped in the US. Paypal only please. I have a sellers account so I can accept billmelater as well as the other forms of paypal payments. It's a fun synth but I miss soldering from my circuit bending days and I can get quite a few kits for what I can sell the OP-1 for. Leave a message on here or email me at litebritedeath at gmail dot com if interested!

Also not sure if everyone knows but OTO won't be making any more of these after this year due to moving on to a new project and important parts in the Biscuit no longer being available.

okay because I'm feeling generous and can build a shruthi myself for a decent price I'll let it go for $450 shipped. I don't mind taking the hit that much because I used billmelater anyhow and would have ordered a shruthi in the first place if they accepted billmelater but they do paypal only.

@Note! it's very badass and both modes are quite fun. like I said it's really just overkill for what I am doing at the moment. I basically am just running my OP-1 into an amp and since the OP-1 only has one output i have to filter the whole output. I'm mainly working on live sets right now so I would be better off with a mini KP2 and some other stuff. The update basically turns it into two devices. It's definitely cool and if I had more gear I would definitely keep it but I'm trying to keep my gear minimal so It would be better off in someone else's hands than mine. The overlay is really cool as well since it relabels everything for when you are using it in synth mode. another cool thing is it's completely silent when turning it of or off and whatever you are running through it will still go through it if the unit is off.
