Anyone made any tunes with Jam Session on the DS.

Its a cool little guitar sim, I quite like.

We have some ambient stuff we have recorded with it, contemplating releasing, what about any of you guys.

So seriously; get something like - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Vivid-15-4-H … amp;_uhb=1

Or if you don't have a lot of room; you can use something similar to what I use (and Xyce / 8GB also use) - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/L0608-Eonon- … amp;_uhb=1

Thanks cTrix, I was wanting somebody to "Break The News", the latency was the one big thing I was curious about. Now looking at it, its looks aweful, I was actually gunna PM you about this before posting.

I think one of those little car LCD screens that you linked will be the way to go, Ill just have to make room and comprimise.

Thanks for your help man.

I barely have any room as it is, Let alone any more power points, Im convinced that the USB thing is the only way...

Im glad you enjoyed. Thanks heart

Hey, I want to use my MacBook pro kind of like a TV, So I can use the screen to play my old PS2 and some plug n plays and that, Anyway I think it can be done with this http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=XC4991

Its obviously designed for recording and screen capturing but surely you could see in real time whats going???
I dont have room for a TV or another monitor in my space.

Has anyone had any experience with these. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou

The arguing is cute.
Thanks to everyone for commenting.
Like I said, I would never compose music just to solely impress the community, Obviously there is that hope in the back of your "Oh I hope they like this". I was by no means at all asking for peoples approval, but too contradict that I am glad everyone agrees that it is still chip, so thank you.

I love and appreciate everyone for commenting.

Thanks

Hey, I don't know if this has been covered, if so, Admins please remove this post.

I am currently working a few tunes (DMG & LSDJ), Ill probably compile them in to an EP, blah blah blah.

Anyway, I have tried writing and arranging every thing LSDJ but I prefer to maybe make like a 8 bar/ 16 bar melody, Record it, (Logic Or Reason) then compose a bassline, layer that underneath, then drum parts and then crash's with the noise. I prefer to arrange it in a DAW, I still apply to the "4 sounds at once" thing-o magi-go but I like to have kick & snare on separate tracks.

Then as far as mixing, Mix it as if it were a normal tune, EQing to make space, compression, Not a lot, not a huge dynamic range in chip I have found but just enough to "Glue" it together. Bit of verb were I feel necessary, I have even been coming out of the box into an analog delay just for a little contrast.

Im just curious, Is it still chip?? I mean I personally feel thats its borderline fake bit. And am i going too far as terms of mixing.

I'm very happy with how it sounds, And as much as I love the community, I will never compose music solely for it. Im just curious as to what other peoples thoughts are? And if you do anything similar?

thanks
