I wouldn't be lucky enough that you'd still have that $50 Sega Nomad, would I? As long as the shipping to Canada isn't too much, I have a Sega power adapter for my Game Gear that should be PERFECT for it, plus a few Genesis games. I'm working on a retro handheld/portable setup for hotel HDTVs at conventions, and this would works out quite well. Between this, my SupaBoy portable SNES clone, and my FC Pocket portable Famicom clone, I'd pretty much have the NES/SNES/Genesis portable setup that would be small enough to fit in a backpack, which is the ultimate goal.

Firstly, these LPT port flasher devices don't work with GB cart transfer devices, like the Transferer etc.
Secondly, the USB 64M cartridge is not compatible with any of the LPT port devices, at least not with any existing software. (as far as I know -- I have not tried every combination)
Thirdly, I'm not aware of any *Mac* software made to work with any Gameboy LPT port flasher. A USB adapter doesn't contain magic fairies that just make things work.
You may want to try this program, even if it's fiddly to set up: http://lacklustre.net/projects/ems-flasher/
Also look for tutorials. There may be newer versions of that software than available on that page.
You might also want to wait for my ALTANE project which will have support for writing to the EMS cartridge using my device instead of the cartridge's own USB.
Thanks. I still have to get a cheap (but good) flash cart that works on my Super Gameboy, so I'm shopping around before I buy one. I can wait for Altane to be available, especially if I can use it on my Mac right away, without spending too much time fiddling with settings. I need to save money for an Anime con in June, and I'm working on my Super Nintendo/Famicom cart collection while I wait. Mostly obsessed with Tetris games right now, as they're dirt cheap on eBay, and require no Japanese reading skills.
Thanks for the program options. I'll look into it. I kinda need to get the wire and flash cart first, and I still don't know if they work on the Super Game Boy. This is mostly for my Supaboy, and the RetroN 5, if it ever comes out, but I have a 50 inch HD TV in the living room, with a 5.1 stereo surround sound home theater setup, and I occasionally plug my SNES 2 up to it. The games don't look much different, but they SOUND amazing!
I have a Game Boy Transfer device that I never used, because I never got the flash cart. I also have a Mac that I'm using for ROMs and emulators. The only PC in the house isn't mine, it's a laptop, and I prefer my MacBook. I haven't had good luck with PCs. They keep breaking down on me, for no apparent reason. I found a female printer parallel port to USB wire, and the 64 MB GB USB Smart Card supposedly has a Mac driver. Someone tell me why this combination wouldn't work, because the technology seems to be compatible. I need something that I can use on my SNES and Supaboy, and the only thing I can think of is a flash cart in a Super Game Boy.
