You have to run the specified commands from the Windows command line (start, run, cmd) not from the Python prompt. You also need to be in the right directory. Maybe I ought to make a GUi version...

It worked!!!!! What a great tool, and (afterwards) so easy to use! It's the second time that you helped me out nitro2k01, thank you

Hello

I want to run the script from nitro2k01 to make costum images. I unzipped the file on his site: http://blog.gg8.se/wordpress/2013/02/19 … -graphics/ and installed Python 2.7-32 bit and PIL 2.7.

Now I have to run the python-file pygbconv (I think). When I click this file a python screen pops up and disappears(??). I also copy-paste the following command in a new pyhton screen "python pygbconv.py out.gb image1.png image2.png image3.png". The program sais "'SyntaxError: invalid syntax" and "pygbconv.py" is red.

What am I doing wrong? Or does somebody knows a tutorial?

Thank you

I think if anything bleaching it would yellow it. I don't have much/any actual experience so take this with a grain of salt. I would recommend trying out the retro bright method first to see how much yellowing that removes, I think you'd be surprised.

That and adding play it loud buttons and screen really make it look darker. I recently did one and it's really white:

Well I guess that's yellow due to crappy lighting. You get the point though.

I think your right about the bleach will yellow the DMG. Thank you. Maybe a silly question: what is "the retro bright method"?

I like the text on the screen of your DMG 0,0. Is there a tutorial for that?

Hello, I want to make my DMG whiter without using paint? I was thinking to bleach the poor thing, is that even possible? I got White Spirit, bleach and turpentine. suggestions?

Thank you

??? 5 sec.?

O.o ...WOW. my question is more than fully answered. What a structure! Thank you very much nitro2k01 smile

I'm making some sound effects for a song in LSDJ. How many seconds can I put in 1 kit? I only know this "...you only have just over two seconds worth of audio per kit..."

Thank you

I bought a DMG but it's sound doesn't work as it should: No speaker sound and very quiet sound through the headphone. I tested the screen-part of the DMG with another CPU-part with no sound problems. The "pro sound" output of the DMG does work as well as the volumewheel.

Do you know what would be the problem? Thank you and sorry for my bad english ^--^.

I got a DMG with prosound and backlight. When I play +/- 10 min it feels hot on the bottom left side of the DMG. Is this something to worry about? Does this happen due to the backlight?

Thank you

I want to toss the metal shielding on the back of my clear DMG, is this a good idea? What function does it have?

Thanks to the great tutorials and tips on this forum (Thanks everyone!)  I've overcome my fear and stencilled my GBC. I bit stolen the idea of Riendofmegaman with his Post Apocalypse Boy (http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/7345/ … d/page/63/) smile. Next step is RCA prosound mod.  I hope you like it

just use one of the locations you would hook a backlight up to.

Ok thank you

I want to mod my transparent dmg with some leds. I only use the dmg with a external power supply and want to power the led's with it. Now is my question: which pins should I use?:Is there more than one good solution?

Thanks smile
