I would love to participate, like Dire Hit said, any particular style?
There are many different ways one could write a song for the game depending on the tone of the level.

Re: Linux software (82 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
though I've not been able to get WINE to behave with the necessary software to use the 64mb cart I got from nonfinite on this computer and have to resort to using my sister's old WinXP/7 rig for transfers from it to a thumb drive.
Though I use a mac and use Linux rarely, I know your frustration with the 64mb cart since it doesn't work on mac nor linux. The best way, in my option, for running the software is to install VirtualBox or some other virtual machine software and torrent a iso of WinXP (although I don't like encouraging pirating).

AY-3-8910 is the soundchip the Spectrum uses, but because the Atari ST, Vecrtex, MSX, sound cards, and some arcade machines use it, I thought it'd make a better/ more organized idea for a board.
thanks

Been a while since I signed in here. There's /nes/, /gb/, and /c64/ so..
>no /zx/ or /ay/ boardSeeing as /ay/ would be broader and cover more computers, think it could be a thing?
Sorry, this might be a stupid question but, what is a "ay". Sounds like a good idea from what you said, but what is it a abbreviation for?
EDIT: Added /zx/
I don't understand the need for some of the boards. For example, the "Creative Commons" board. wut. Did you maybe mean "Constructive Criticism"? Others could also probably be better organized/consolidated.
It'd just be a shame for this to be one of those imageboards with more boards than posters.

Thanks for the feedback, I organized the boards better.

Yeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh... no. The place looks unmoderated and abandoned. Dare to take a peek if you want to see what I mean, especially in older pages.
This looks like a good thing to have around, slugs, I'll definitely bookmark and visit.
I totally agree, El Huesudo II, even though its an awesome site, the creator of iiichan said he's stepping back from the imageboard scene
I had been something of an absentee landlord for the last few years. I was just not that interested in imageboards anymore, nor the moderation of them.
thanks for your support & bookmarking pulsechan

Now this is interesting -- and since I'm a forum software insider, I see that the forum software itself is powered by Tinyboard.
And actually I do agree about making sure the entire site is a SFW environment; however, I do suggest that when the time comes - you might need to get moderators to make sure that the boards don't go out of control there.
thanks, I do need to get more mods there

This is a great idea, thanks for implementing it!
>Why does lsdj get its own board?
For one, thanks
The reason LSDj get its own board is because it is one of most popular tracker softwares for the gameboy. And (most of all) I was out of ideas, so thats why I'm taking board requests.

First of all, there's already http://iiichan.net/boards/music/
Random comments:
And secondly, which file types are allowed? It doesn't say anywhere, but I would expect that relevant file types like sav, lsdsng and various module format would be allowed.
I just joined the IRC channel, and it was empty. No good if you want to keep your ops.
Another thing. Looking at the rules, I found this: "No adult content, this is a SFW site." For a chan, I would personally phrase that differently. What about on-topic, but tangetially NSFW images? Say... discussions about Custer's Revenge or this Anamanaguchi gif which features bare breasts. Or just generally borderline on-topic art. Maybe a minor point, but nevertheless one I felt like bringing up.
Say... discussions about Custer's Revenge
I would not want any discussions about Custer's Revenge on there, but the Anamanaguchi thing I would let it slide, but thanks for telling about that, I will rephrase the rules better
Now about the filetypes:
And secondly, which file types are allowed? It doesn't say anywhere, but I would expect that relevant file types like sav, lsdsng and various module format would be allowed.
Unfortunately since the software it runs on is so new, it doesn't support adding other file types (yet).
Though I will add a board that is based off of the wakaba software which iichan runs on to add multiple different file types. Thanks
EDIT: The software supports other file types, adding other file types right now (nsf, wav, lsdsng, sav)
