Not natively, but it does run under Wine. LGPT and Milkytracker will also both run natively.

Re: Zero budget setup? (34 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
why do you feel it is lacking?
i had just a game boy for years, you dont really need anything else and hardware tends to cost ££$$££$$
if you have a PC there are tons of free options like Goattracker, Famitracker and tons of others.
do you know of any trackers that run on ubuntu?

I've been making chip since 2007 and to this day I usually just use two game boys and a mixer when I play shows. Focus on making music and when your music gets to a certain level you will start to see what kinds of sound you want to add and get appropriate gear to be able to accomplish the sound you're going for.
Yea, I just really like building stuff. but you're right, I should focus on the music not the hardware.

Topic: Acer aspire one best os for chiptune? (6 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
Hi again, ive had this acer aspire one lying around for a while trying to turn it into a hackintosh, (failed) And I wanted to see if I could implement it in my setup. I've seen a couple guys use them but I don't know what is or trackers they use. Right now it has Ubuntu but I don't know if that's my best option. Thanks -Payday

You can DIY some pretty cool little mixers. http://www.beavisaudio.com/ has some cool plans and thoughts on building mixers, fx loops and the like. Might be useful.
I already have lsdj so I'm more looking for gadgets and synths and stuff, thanks
Do you know any good cheap or diy mixers?
