My friend recently built me an arduinoboy, and after a bunch of dicking around we got it to work with LSDJ, both in master and slave modes. However when I flash mGB to my cart I can't get any notes to trigger except occasionally when unplugging the cable. Instead of notes I hear these brief pops when a note on, note off message is sent. If I set my DAW to send clock info I hear an ungodly screeching.
At first I thought I was just having a hard time finding the correct mode, so I modified the code so that there is only one mode, which is mGB setup. This proved fruitless, and I still just heard pops.
I don't think it's an issue with the arduinoboy's wiring as clock and Midi notes are sent on the same channel.
Anyone have a similar problem, or have any ideas how to fix this?
