Did you see my post above?

i'll see about this, tbh they sort of got pushed back because other stuff in the pipeline, but all i need to do is build them up anyways so perhaps this is very doable right now without much digging,

The NES-004 PCB barely needs modified as it is but a new board would definitely make this much easier.
It would be a good idea to have the 4 diodes built into the new PCB and then just 6 break out pins. This would make my life so much easier! Also maybe find a good(and small!) 6-pin socket that will fit into the Game Boy. I normally just add another link port wired to the button pins on the DMG and use a link cable for the controller. This is a pain and can also cause some confusion.

hey everybody -

really happy to have been able to do this project: a LOOMIS X kitsch-bent collab battery cover for the DMG.  we worked together and played with the lines on the DMG a bit and settled on a design we thought would be adaptable to many different approaches.

they are available now!

thanks to loomis for reaching out and getting it started!

till next time, keep chipping,

Really cool.  Wish you had done these years ago.  Do you think these will be available in PIL colors, or whatever new case colors you do?

they will!  its the plan, as long as loomis is on board with it all, i know i'm game.  i'm sure he will be though

I know I will pick up at least one.    Do you think you can post a pic in the store of it on a OEM case, and maybe one of yours?

hey everybody -

tune in to the (all day!) live streaming event CLIPSTREAM X and listen to some music today: http://clip-stream.net/cs/

on to business...

after getting a request to take on this project from a customer, i'm really happy to be able to offer replacement gears for the N64 controller's joystick.  these gears often wear out in the joystick, leaving practically useless controllers in their wake.  thanks osmo for getting in touch!

http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/n64-joystick-gears

and, last but not least, big ups to loomis for pushing this idea:  USB-to-GAMEBOY power cables!  for now, DMG only, but keep your eyes open for similar cable love for the other handhelds,

thats it for now!  till next time, keep chipping,
