based off an open source project, modified code, here's the original: http://makezine.com/projects/pixelmusic-3000/
modifying the original shouldn't be too hard... source code is on the gadget gangsta site (they said, i haven't found it yet), and the original project has schematic and source code for it.
you could even modify it to make it BETTER for you
would a group buy for making the original project interest you guys? i wouldn't mind doing some kits of this in a group buy, if it comes to that...
or, an internally mounted version of the project? (direct hookup to sound inside the console, RCA video jack out)
there are other packages available for the main IC, other than the DIP package. adding ICSP to the board for programming wouldn't be hard
ok, then perhaps the design should be compatible for both... i *think* the only real change would be whether one solders the other RCA jack on, or fly wire to the pot, but i haven't really looked at the specs too closely yet to catch other things
this was just released it seems: http://www.critterandguitari.com/products/rhythm-scope
good timing, not so great a pricetag

I would be down for one (maybe two). But I guess it kinda goes without saying hehe
Maybe might be an idea to start a separate thread for this? Since I'm guessing most people won't check this thread.
Still out of stock Anyone know if there is a kit somewhere out there? Either for the Gadget Gangster Muzak Visualizer or the Pixelmusic 3000? Or if anyone would be up for building one?
Hey hey! This is still a cool thing, and I'm still looking
