So I have the 1541-III SD adapter without a screen or buttons.
I've found I cannot save songs with this unit and am looking for a good option.
Too many choices and hacks. Can't decide. oh the downside of not having internal memory.

After adding the screen and buttons and serial port connector and failing in attempts to update the 1541-III firmware I gave up and decided the best option is uIEC for use with my JiffyDOS I just installed. Cannot wait to save and load music at lightning fast speeds. I'm a bit torn as to what the best program is though. MSSIAH isn't very streamlined for pattern editing, but is nice as far as user friendliness as is Cybertracker. SID Wizard looks very optimized and compatible with things like my DUALSID setup. Not to mention the SID file format. I managed to figure out some of the basics of SID Wizard, but man you have to memorize every hex value function in order to use it properly and I kinda miss the ADSR formats. I'll probably play with them all though. Thanks for the suggestions! ;D
