Hi!
I have a question for you ^_^
In my new track i want to take some scratches but I don't know how to make it.
I remember that it was something in the LSDJ Patch Book for iPod, but unfortunately, a son of a b*tch stole my iPod when I was in train T_T
Could someone help me with this sound?
Thanks
You could always use samples but that's a bit complicated. Try finding some scratch samples and use this tut to get them on your rom.
I have some scrath kit already made will upload em for you this night

hi guys,
sorry for bringing this dead thread back to life (it's aliiiive, it's aliiiive!!!)
i'd do need some PU2 ''scratching'', and some other weird/scary sound effects, screams, dissonant stuff, etc... NO WAVE SAMPLES (wave chan is somehow busy already)
it's for some chip trip-hopish track along with a ukulele and a female singer
i've tried the table above... and surely missed something on how to use it, because what goes out is everything but convincing...
if you have some tips or suggestions...
Have you messed around VF(X) command values? Fast vibrato gets you crazy textured sounds.
I did some vinyl scratch-and-poppish sounds by accident using all three melodic channels, lol. Got the pops using Oxy commands at volume 0, i believe. I guess wav channel scratch isn't what you want... I'll see what I have going on later tonight and see what I can dig up.
I use the noise channel for replicating scratches. Table trickery.

VERY interested, could you may be develop a bit ?
thanks for the idea sketchman
