I am sure there is something like this on here, but I had no idea what to type in that search bar. So basically this, I want to put Lsdj on a regular gameboy cart, with no usb or any battery of crap like that. Basically I just want what's on the cart and that's it. I have 4 ems 64 carts, but I just want to downgrade, and I was wondering if anyone here would have the ability to flash a basic cart here with SOME sav ability. If it can't be done, I understand, just wondering boys.. and girls.

(I have proof of purchase too)

Still has a battery.  Drag and Derp is about as close to what your after as you can get at the moment.  It has USB to drag and drop your file but uses flash based tech for .sav and ROM files.

What sxe said. Not having a battery is actually a significant UPGRADE. LSDJ requires save ability and that means either battery or flash like derps.

don't why I seek one, maybe I can just have my grandpa cast some cart shells that look more true to the original tongue

Why not remove the USB connector from one of your EMS carts and slip it into an old grey shell?

You can with a little cutting of the innards fit an EMS cart in a normal game boy game case.

Call me crazy, but this would be a bad idea. A usb cart gets the rom and savs through the usb right? so If I removed it, and my battery on the cart died, tthere goes my rom and savs lol. I wil find a way to conceal the usb slot with a inward flap

I wish derps were cheaper, they look great but I think they are a bit pricey for me in their overall functionality. I love the concept of a flashdrive like interface. Just hate that it's 100 dollars plus shipping, yes I am a bit cheap. MAYBE i'll save up a pretty penny

I've succeeded at doing this a couple times. You have to shave the inside down to like paper thin to get the battery to fit in properly.
