Out of curiosity, does anyone know how long a link cable can be and still maintain its functionality? I've also read on this forum of people daisy chaining GBs together with modded four-way link cable adapters...Is there something hardware wise within them that helps the units stay in sync when multiple units are chained together?
If its anything like a serial cable:

Im guessing you want to keep it under 15meters
Thanks. I figured it'd be similar to a serial cable but you never know with these things. I'll pass this info along to my co-conspirator. I have a probably overly ambitious mod idea and limited knowledge of electronics...

As you approach 15 feet you'll get more data loss, your best best is to test how long you can go before unacceptable loss occurs. If you want to go longer than that you'll need one or more repeaters.
