Ok, so i had this idea..

As far as i know it's never been done before, but how cool would it be to get some NES musicians, programmer, someone to do graphics and have a 2A03 NES music compilation that's a ROM?

I know we have some great NES artists and programmers in our community so i think this could be something amazing

I already have confirmation from Flopps that he could even make some carts if this went ahead

maybe it's just a pipe dream on my part but is anyone interested in doing something like this?

Of course the submissions would all be quality controlled and stuff

If anyone has anything to help or input at all it would be greatly appreciated!

Right! But Vegavox 2 didn't use this (vegaplay) which is what ant1 was referring too... I think.

Anyway, the real point is, I can't think of an actually rom release of a compilation either, so this should be done!

yeah, just sort of started this idea off today, over the course of this week i'll be contacting people i'd like to get involved, just thought if i left this thread for discussion and ideas it'd be cool to get everyone involved in the whole process smile

@Floops, i have a solution for that... GIMME ALL!!!, specially that KUNG-FU game!
this project remind me this.... KLICME, mmmmm wonder why not more ppl get in to that!.

Anyway, if miau i cant be in!... im not going to do any track/graphic if he is in!!!!......

Sounds like NSF Collision Version 2.0 CART EDDITION. Which is fine and all, but NSF Collision isn't even done yet. Also, I might be wrong (miau or NoCarrier), but aren't all the songs supposed to be on the same FTM file for you guys to put it all on a ROM? If so, it's going to be a bitch of a fucking job for whoever whas to copy and paste other people's songs into a FTM. I'm down, but I'm a bit dubious.

if worst came to worst we would have to have a small team of people to choose a selection of songs to be on the cart, the rest would be on the MP3 release version as a "bonus" smile
