Hi everyone,
First of all, I'd like to apologize for my poor english skills and for the fact that the question may have already been asked... I searched on the forum and learnt many thing but couldn't find the answer for my question.
I'm a bass player who is interested in chip music for a long time but never really took the time to gather the gear to make this kind of music. I've been thinking about it a lot lately, and found informations on sequencers such as LSDJ or Nanoloop... And here is the thing : I'd like to make a project with instruments such as bass/guitar and drums + chip music. But I'd like the chip sounds to be played "live" by an instrumentalist on a device (midi I guess ?) like a keyboard (or something), connected to a gameboy (for example). Is it even possible ? Can a MIDI device control a gameboy like... If you hit the "A" key on the keyboard, the gameboy will play an "A" ? I'm aware that my question may sound really naive, but I just couldn't find the answer to this precise question on the forum...
Thanks a lot for reading me ! Keep it up.
