Hello everyone, im trying to use datbanger on my computer but i have this issue "root data level not valid. Line 1769, position 1"

Are you running it on a folder that needs root permissions? Try running the exe as administrator.

Lol Form1.button1_click.  Good job naming your controls/methods.  I'm assuming that's the 1st button.

It looks like a problem with the XML it's trying to parse in the file associated with the button you're clicking on line 1769, position 1.  Maybe a truncated or corrupt file?

You'd have to try opening the file as a text file with something like Programmer's Notepad that will let you turn on line numbers and maybe there's an obvious problem.  I once had an XML file get corrupted where one of the <'s got changed to the next ascii character.

why is running as admin always the first answer? wink

other than malformed xml, it's difficult to tell what the issue could be without looking at the code.

it didn't work running datbanger as admin on win xp. so tonight is the show, if someone could help would be great.

Ooops, just saw this now. I tried banging ARQUERIA into MANIJA and got a MALFORMED dat error.

Edit: that dat is corrupted. Sound slike this is an ongoing thing with your setup. If you're rocking PSP, I'd recommend getting a different Memory Stick ASAP.

Maybe you should try reformatting? Or maybe the stick is just damaged?
