So until I can upgrade a gameboy and get a copy of LSDJ, I'm using Ableton's Operator synth to make chip sounds. So far I've made some basic sounds but does anyone have any advice for how to better utilise Operator?
Operator is the one of the easiest and most powerful FM synths I've ever used. There are tons of tutorials on the internet. Using it for basic square, saw and triangle waves is pretty simple. You'll find out at no time at all.

OPERATOR IS THE BEST SYNTH EVER.
Just use Operator for EVERY synth and you'll get really good at making top tier stuff without spending hundreds on not-so-cheap plugins (like Operator )
