Inspired by the synth soundtracks of the 80's as well as the sounds of current electronic and ambient music comes "CITY DEPTHS": the soundtrack for an imaginary film.

When walking or driving late at night there is a sense of uneasy stillness as the moon casts everything in darkness and shadow. Nearly everyone is asleep but through the silence you can hear the sounds of vehicles, machines, and people gentling humming in the distance. While peaceful on the surface there is a sense of uncertainty as our imaginations work to fill in details of what can't be seen, often creating things not real.

This album hopes to capture this experience through ambient textures and pulsing beats best experienced through headphones or stereo while exploring the night.

All music composed, performed, and produced by Bryce Miller.

Inspirations include: John Carpenter, Cliff Martinez (Drive, Only God Forgives, The Knick), Disasterpeace (It Follows), Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (Social Network, Gone Girl, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), Vangelis, Johnny Jewel (Glass Candy, Symmetry), Krzysztof Penderecki (Used in The Shining), Tangerine Dream, Rob (Maniac), Goblin, Daft Punk (Tron), Mica Levi (Under the Skin)

Where CITY DEPTHS captured the stillness and tension of the night, the OPERATOR EP brings to life the dark beats and buzzing electricity heard echoing through the city.

Many of the sounds were programmed and played on the Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator SUB. Its a fantastic little analog machine.

All music composed, performed, and produced by Bryce Miller.
