I talk about that to ESC in a thread, the youtube /youtube fonction doesn't work on chrome.
I was trying to throw a link and it was this weird black screen...and all the other comments with this didn't work too...

(Oh btw I was on chrome and Windows 10....Kev said to try it on Firefox and it is working !)

Same idea since I met a similar YouTube play error the other day. Some YouTube videos won't play on my Chrome and repeatedly give me the message like "an error occurred, please try again". While there's no such problem on Firefox.
So as for the problem that YouTube not working on Chrome, how about remove the Ad-Block. Some said this is helpful. Or how about these guides:
