Has anyone used a European PAL C64 in the states with a step up transformer?
What I wonder is if the difference of the utility frequency will have any negative effect.

I don't think anything will happen, I also used american C64s in Europe without any difference, specially if you use a converter. If you had changed the PSu to an american one, maybe, but don't take my word for this.

We use a German PAL c64 all year long and nothing is different
