Hello everybody!

I would appreciate if you watched my first short, animated pixel-art film, which I made with a friend. Also made all the 8-bit music and sound effects. I used Beepbox, as I was thinking Famitracker would be quite hard for a beginner.

Tried to create a NES kind of vibe. I would really like some feedback about what I could improve on my approach. Also, do you think I should move to more advanced softwares than Beepbox?

Famitracker is hard to master, but it's one of the most straight forward trackers out there. And once you get the hang of it, the skills transfer to all other sorts of trackers as well. I would definitely recommend it.

What you have is pretty good though, I honestly couldn't even tell it was beepbox just by listening. But many effects like vibrato, tremolo, volume control, tempo changes, and pitch bending are absent from beepbox. So if you want more control over your music, take the time to make the switch to a tracker.
