Is there a tool out there that will take a VGM rip that uses the YM2151 and convert it to a OPM file? I'd like to take that and convert it into TFI instruments for use in VGM MM actually (got any ideas Shiru?)

You can modify vgm2tfi, shouldn't be too difficult. Alternatively, if you have a VGM file that uses YM2151, send it to me, and I'll modify the tool.

VGM2TFI is updated, test it please. It produced seemingly correct set of instruments for the file, at least.

Tested it out on a few other VGMs, seems to work great, thanks. It produces a lot of instruments though, most with just very tiny TL changes between them.

Yes, I noticed that - the code that gets TL changes is too simple to make a mistake, so my guess is that the music was made with slightly randomized TL for some reason.

VGM2TFI v1.1 is GREAT update!!
However, VGM2OPM v1.0 can't recognize VGM file that uses YM2151 yet.
I hope VGM2OPM is updated to v1.1.
