well after a few hours of learning lsdj i started this track
http://soundcloud.com/the-chip/hmmm
to me its alright but at a certain point it changes( around :28)
and to me it seems to clash with the happy melody that starts everything.
so i was wondering what kind of tips you could give me for this?

Do you know any music theory? The harmonies you used in here are pretty basic. But then, even though the harmonies are very simple I don't really hear any real clashing notes in there.
Not bad for just a few hours, I guess. All I can say for tips is just mess around with the program a lot, get familiar with everything and try using some other sounds besides the 50% straight pulse wave.

i know the basics i might touch up on that more when i get the time.
anyways thanks for your feedback!
exceptional for an LSDJ starter. as VCMG said, deviate your instruments a bit - experiment with tables to try and get some nice sounds out of what you're using. also, try utilizing the WAV column for more than your kicks and bass - you'd be surprised how far you can go with it.
