Good day to you, dear Sir and Madam,

I have a little problem and hope you can, and are willing to, help me out. The gist of it: My current LSDj sav is not working properly, and the latest sav that IS properly working is weeks old. I composed quite a lot since then, so it would be really good if the current sav would work properly again.

All of it started when I got the "Don't panic!"-screen a few days ago. I took a picture just in case, but it seemed to be working just fine after that. But, yesterday, after it shut down while playing because of low battery levels, it stopped working properly, even after I put fresh batteries in. The key delay/repeat value changed randomly to 0/3, I was only able to get it back to 7/3 (before, it was 7/2). Now the cursor does not properly scroll when you hold down an arrow button (only about one space a second) The second digit of that value does not budge, however I try. I am guessing the value should be manipulated by pressing left/right+A, while the first digit is manipulated by up/down+A.
The other thing that troubles me is that the sav does not work in my emulators. While it at least loads and plays back saved songs on my game boy, the emulators only show an LSDj without any saved songs whatsoever. Earlier savs work perfectly fine on both my game boys and game boy emulators.

Do you have any hints on what to do about this? I guess I could recover the data by loading the songs on my game boy and then entering everything manually into a working LSDj sav on an emulator, but that would be a lot of work. And in the future, it might occur again with even bigger projects (and/or more unsaved songs).

On another note, do you have any idea on which operations are to be avoided if I do not want broken save files?

I use a DMG, a game boy color (problems occured on both), an EMS smart card with an usb port, LSDj v4.6.2 and windows 7 32 bit.

All efforts to help me out will be greatly appreciated!
