Thanks. However, what I'm most interested in atm is how it behaves on a GBA. If the ROM marked clean2 works on a GBA without this noise, I may have solved world hu... I mean this bug in a way that is applicable to LSDj as well.

I've uploaded a new version of the ROMs where the titles are displayed correctly in the EMS menu. Same link.

That would be wonderful.  I'd love to have clearer samples especially on GBASP.  Monowave in LSDJ ...  ?

Johan has released a new version of LSDj (4.7.0) that implements this fix. Give it a try on your GBA and see if it helps.

Great effort on this Nitro.  I'm excited you are still working out and on issues.

GAH i lost my account info to download builds of LSDJ.   these new developments is definitely a bug plus for a GBA SP user such as myself.

i'm also curious as to see what happens when this latest LSDJ build runs on a nintendo DS running a LameBoy emulator.  the DS did a terrific job of absolutely mangling the WAV channel before (see here for an example) - i wonder if it runs any better.   will keep you guys posted.

I did the same thing and Johann never responded to my 2 emails so I just donated a second time and got a new account.

Am I insane or does the rom have none of the functionality listed in that post?

update:  nope, doesn't really change anything on the DS (it's almost certainly the fault of the LameBoy emulator though).

still though, there is a noticeable difference in sound quality on my GBAs, a little hard to tell though because i'm generally averse to kits.  thanks a ton n2k1!

btw, what effect, if any, might this fix have on cpu usage?

Well, I'm missing all mentioned button functionality except for the up/down pitch tuning. I haven't check the link port signals yet.

edit: running this on GBP
