La Sorcière de l'Étoile Rose

An Impulse Tracker module made with Schism Tracker

All samples are from an FM chip YM2413 [OPLL] which was used in Japanese version of Sega Master System [Sega Mark III], MSX Turbo R and was also available for MSX2 (but by default). It has basically the same sounds as AdLib but uses mostly preset instruments (only one channel is programmable)

Why this sounds so different to old YM2413 music? I have used 18 channels and there are all kinds of combinations of different instruments. For instance leads are always played by more than one instrument in unisono. Some instruments are used at such low or high pitches that it may alter their sound a bit (but mostly I have stayed close to recorded pitches).

Samples are taken from a samplepack recorded by little-scale (thank you for distributing such fine samples!)

The original song file (*.it) is sent to Modarchive, should be available there in few days.
