L'Escadrille de Scooters Aériens

32-channel Impulse Tracker module, Yamaha DX7 samples (obtained by using Dexed VST), misc. drum samples, tracked with OpenMPT (through wine). The song title refers to flying vehicles looking like jet skis (pilots standing) that I imagined flying rapidly around skyscrapers. The original IT format file can be found from the Modarchive.

Thanks. Impulse Tracker (.it) format itself does not support VST though OpenMPT more generally does. I have only used Dexed (in OpenMPT) for creating & extracting samples (manually, since there is no option in OpenMPT yet to transform VST instruments into samples). Then I have used these samples in my it-format song. As far as I know OpenMPT fully supports VST if you just use program's own music file format (instead of 80s/90s formats such as .it). Anyway, whatever questions you have about that program, they are likely to answer them at an IRC channel #modplug @ irc.esper.net

sounds nice! I suppose it wasn't possible to load Dexed in openMPT as a VST. I haven't used much OpenMPT, but I guess VST are only for effects, not instruments?
