Keeping everything you have here the same, I am going to describe what moves I would make. I would have everything suddenly cut out and introduce some drums or bass. I would then bring in a second melody within the same key and in either the same octave or one octave below the one you are using for the melody you have currently. It does sound like a sick opening. I like it.
