I guess I'll find a way to make a deeper/better kick in LSDJ. Right now I'm messing around with keeping all of the other instruments envelopes low and turning the kick up to 100%
Yeah maybe a cleaner kick drum, less saturated and shorter, with more low-end but I don't know what's possible on gameboy
Thanks guys! any specific pointers? I'm currently using a pulse kick @ 50%, if I recall correctly, e4 sweep at ~ 20 length and I think Fx envelope - I don't know how to give it more oomph - I do have a pot bypass on my one gameboy that I could use to record this but it's a bit iffy because the headphone port is going out so sometimes songs end up having weird static in them or cutting out for a split second 
I dig it But I agree with Starshine, it lacks some power. But over all a nice track!
