Iver Heath

Iver Heath

This one might stretch some peoples' definition of what's appropriate for this site, but the idea with this was to use old-school methods on new gear to create a sort of neo-chiptune. I've no idea if I succeeded.

This tune was tracked in Renoise using hand-drawn / single-cycle / one-shot samples only, all of which were reduced to 8 bits. I used Renoise's built-in effects, but there are no VSTs on this track. A couple of sounds are from the Waveworld library (harp, choir and bass I think). I can't remember where I picked up the drum sounds, but I suspect I might have ripped them from a 4mat module, so many thanks to him just in case.

Called Iver Heath because that's where I'm staying for work right now! Hope you enjoy it.
