all sounds made using fmdrive (ym2612 chip emulator) and spsg (sn76489 chip emulator), both of which are by aly james lab. i use a maximum of 10 channels - six from the fm chip and four from the psg - in keeping with the sega genesis / mega drive's sonic affordances. speech and drum samples are from toejam & earl.

ym2612:
1 - bass
2 - guitar (voice 1)
3 - guitar (voice 2)
4 - horns
5 - vocals
6 - 'wake up!' / kick drum / snare / hand clap

sn76489:
1 - organ (voice 1)
2 - organ (voice 2)
3 - organ (voice 3)
4 - hi-hats
