Infrared is a part of the tragedy(?) of Apollo, a rock opera I am currently formulating about a humanoid machine that has an inherent love for music.

One day, Apollo is approached by a woman who admires his ability to bend technology to his will, and he falls in love. Apollo sets out on a journey that takes him both to the corners of his home planet as well as into the depths of himself to find the characteristics of a human being so that he might better suit the needs of his new found muse.

Ultimately, Apollo fails in his pursuits. He is crushed, his internal workings falter. He wakes in an operating room. Now, he must find a new purpose.

vocals remind me a little of Andy Partridge from XTC if you ever listened to them. Nice tune; the warbly leads towards the end carry a lot of emotion.

REALLY dig the vibes on this one man!
