I'm pretty much done with my EP.  I'm not normally into these preview types of things, but I guess I'm trying to drum up some interest, and reminding people I'm still working on music other than dodgy Weekly Beat compositions   =P

Anyway, here's a teaser thing.

Would you be at all interested in scoring a game? Hypothetically speaking, of course...

Awesome work as always.

@PKtora - The songs are all 1xLSDJ, straight outta the Game Boy.  No fancy multi-tracking.

Holy shit! Curious to know how many gameboys were used to compose those songs?

This is really awesome! Good work

Mind = blown

The EP is now out!  http://roboctopus.bandcamp.com/

WOW.  This is awesome.  Psyched to get my ears(?) on this.

Heh, that sounds about right. The chords and melodies don't bow down to the groove, and the dance beat doesn't sound tacked on; it's an egalitarian style wink Anyway, looking forward to this!

Thanks Fluidvolt!  That means a lot coming from you!  To be fair, I don't think of myself as making straight-up dance music.  I write songs on guitar or piano and then program them into LSDJ.  So they're melodies and chord progressions first and dancey-ish tunes second, I guess.

Radical. You're the only dance-y LSDJ guy I really listen to; your melodies/chord progressions have the right stuff! Looking forward to this release.

Hey PamTech!  Good to see you!

@Pieces of Eight - I'm in Madison, Alabama.  The hip chip capitol of Northern Alabama.  Yeah.

Dude, your sound has taken a MAJOR set up from your last year's release.  SUPER fucking hip.  Are you still in B'ham these days?

Dude. Im glad i found you here heart good times in 8BC.

Shut up and take my money.

@Feryl, I don't have a firm release date yet, but it's called "Victory Lapse".  So, um, keep an eye out?

Sounds pretty nice so far! Any title/release date to share?

It'll be free, and it should be out soon!

Also, sorry about the tremendous silence at the end.  Audio editing   beer...

oh dang where or when can i buy that first track?
