Slavonic Dance #10 (Dvorak on 7 Gameboys)

By sloopygoop on May 19, 2015 11:41 am

A transcription of the full orchestral score of the great Antonin Dvorak’s Slavonic Dance #10. (Opus 72, No. 2 in E minor, “Starodávný”)
7 DMG Gameboys, 7 copies of LSDJ, 7x77 headaches. smile This recording is just a tiny bit sloppy because I wanted people to hear it sooner rather than later. I’m trying to do more with this classical-music orchestra project so feedback is appreciated.

its obviously taken you an awful long time and a lot of work to transcribe all this, but i cant help but thinking that you could have put 7xlsdj to a lot more use, both in terms of use of space you have available and the power of lsdj's sound creation. you could have created a lot more subtleties in the sounds used, for example. smile

I just went and googled August. Hah, how about that? Nifty family!

Haven't seen the name Dvorak in quite a while. Antonin Dvorak is the distant relative of August Dvorak who made the Dvorak keyboard layout, for which I highly recommend.
