yeah, I could've used Miku, if all she said was "ah" haha. So I ended up using an English language vocaloid, but I like the way Miku sounds better.
Ha yeah i've heard that miku can't do english too well. that's why i suspect the use of vocaloid might be better for using as an intrument as opposed to something that makes sense. Having said that I understood most of this one, although I do know the paramore song
haha yeah, Vocaloid is hard to get sounding decent. 
@Shriker: I tried using Miku, but she doesn't do to well with singing in English I couldn't even get her to say 'it'.
I can't really understand a single thing that synthetic voice is singing! haha!
