Oh, I do try to be honest, so don't worry. 
It's just an interesting sound, is all! Perhaps 'gritty' is a bitter word; I enjoy that certain quality a lot, anyway. It sounds good!
haha don't be afraid to say bad! I did want it to sound dirty, but you're right there's something weird about the upper range there. Thanks for the comment!
Some very weird EQ going on here! Not necessarily bad, just interesting. Might want to take the extreme high end down a little bit (I'm talking >10khz). Very wicked tune though, nice and dirty.
