Im so glad you made this

Thanks for leaving a message GreaseM! Other people can always pick up on things one can miss. smile
- The vocal melody is rather repetitive in this track and I did put a few volumes drops in it but maybe not enough, I'll keep that in mind when I go back to tweak it.
- I spend allot of time trying to get a fat kick, I recon through my mixer with a little bass boost it would sound better perhaps instead of this raw recording. It is a fairly standard kick in the WAV channel though. If there is a patch book somewhere for kicks/instruments that anyone knows of I would love to have a look.
- I know my tempo is faster and I personally preferred the speed I chose, it was an intentional increase though I can appreciate that its not for everyone. When I cover something I try to give it my own feel. smile
Thanks again.

Really, *really* needs more duty cycle stuff on the vocal line. The vocal line is also a bit too... constant? Try dropping the volume off earlier than you do, if you do it at all.

Could *possibly* do with a bassier kick, too (I think you might need to side-chain it), although I'm not particularly familiar with LSDJ, and I'm not sure if the Gameboy even gives you enough bass (EQ-wise, I *KNOW* you can do fairly low notes somehow, unlike, say, the Sega Master System...)

The chorus would probably sound better with a two-note chord rather than an arp, but I understand that it can be quite hard to squeeze stuff into channels in some cases.

The original is a bit slower than this. Mind following this? It makes it sound a bit too fast-paced.

Maybe I need to give a NES remix of this a crack to demonstrate my points.

That's all the critique out of the way. It's quite a nice sounding remix.
