So i decided i want to paint a old gba that i bought from a friend, but instead of painting and external coat i got an idea to paint the inside. I've only have painted one other handheld and im pretty nervous about messing up in this. for example, i don't want to get any paint on the exterior at all, and i got the idea that if i use masking tape it wont leak through, and the tape im planning on using is called "frog tape" and it says its treated with paint block. Other than covering up the wholes, im afraid i might stain the sides of it. The paint im using is pink fluorescent KRYLON spray paint. So if you guys can give me some tips and tricks that would be rad.

These turn out really cool when painted internally. You've got the right idea, just mask the screen cover if you're aren't replacing it, line the edge with tape and go for it.

He's probably going to do a clear frontlight, you know wink from the GBA SP, if he does frontlight it.

I've done this once with a CGB. You have to be very particular with how you tape it off. Even then I spent an hour carefully scraping of paint that flowed outside the case:

I think I'm going to do this to the GBC I have. It has a great frosted look to it once the inside is painted.

This was a simple inside spray of a glacier GBA. I used a purple Krylon X-Metals.

Like justin said, just be careful with taping it before you spray.
