Hello,
I am a one man band from Texas, accompanied by my Gameboy. I play guitar, and sing, just not very well. I was never able to play in a band with people, because I am kind of a loner I guess. I played for a long time without drums or any accompanying music. I always wanted to make chiptune music, but didn't think it was possible without a lot of skill at coding on a computer. That was until I saw Reformat The Planet, a documentary about chiptune musicians. They mentioned different kinds of software for the Gameboy like LSDJ, made for creating chiptune music. I looked into it, bought a Gameboy, and got a copy of LSDJ from Nonfinite Electronics. I wouldn't say I am very good, but I love playing guitar with my gameboy. I recorded over 20 songs this year alone.
The Gameboy has lit some kind of fire in me to make more music, because it is even more fun than before. I love writing my own lyrics, guitar, and chipmusic. I also love the community of musicians creating amazing music on old retro gaming hardware.
Anyway, I hope you like my music. I will post here whenever I get a new song finished.
