Hi! I am new to chiptune. But I do make music (it's not extremely good, but not really bad either). For tracks, I've used (and still using) SunVox. I've tried FamiTracker but I've got no ideas for melodies like the pros do and in conclusion I quit using it.
For non-chiptune, I use Audiotool as my main DAW. They have a nice community there but not focused on chiptune.
