Rainbow to the Stars

This cover is actually based on a remix of Rainbow to the Stars, hence the I-V-VI-IV chord progression. I know that it's really repetitive, I tried my best to not make this repetitive.And seeing as I'm very noob at producing/writing music, this is the best I could do.

Having never heard the original, this is not bad. There are some nice ideas, especially near the end. It'd really be cool if, instead of just using the same few loops over and over and over again, you turned it into a melody line with variations every so often. Like somebody would do if they were singing lyrics live. Also, while the solo-pulse parts are kind of interesting, I feel like it's just a little bit empty. Maybe some echoing on the other pulse channel, or harmony or something would be cool. ~~~~~ Just listened to the original. Lot's of potential material to be covered in that song, particularly in the intro bass work, which is perfect for wav channel play. And you turned the original interesting chord progression into the I-V-VI-IV. Whyyy? It's good to make something your own, but, in my opinion, one must be careful to not make it sound like everyone else's own, ya know? Just some things to think about when doing covers. Keep it up,.man. It's cool that you mixed some samples in there, and I really like the arp work near the end of the song.
