i haven't tried nes synth. is it in that same sort of genre of sampler/keyboard toys?

ZXSynth obviously isn't meant for anything serious, but it's fun and free and makes blipz n blopez.

It's pretty much the same, but has more to it.
It has a 1:1 PU, 1:3 PU, 1:7 PU, Triangle Bass, Noi 1, Noi 2, and an Effects channel
Also, it has a sweep and an ARP button with buttons to change octaves.
Slide your finger up on the key for a vibrato.
It also has an NES mode where it's a NES controller and you play notes on that.

It's FREE with ads or
$3.99 USD without ads.

If your more interested in that genre you should also think about downloading 8bit Drum.
It's free and it has multiple other kits that are pretty fun to mess around with.

NESynth is ok, I wish I could record with it - but it is fun to play with smile

I would definitely recommend the free version of NESynth and 8bit Drum for playing around purposes. I bought NESynth before there was a free version and I feel jiped tongue
