So, I've been reading up on this Arduino boy and the various other methods available to me for MIDI-fying my chiptune music. My question is this:
What is going to be the easiest/quickest route to travel? (Not necessarily the cheapest route... I've come to terms with the fact that it's going to rape my dollars, haha.) Where can I get one of these magical DMG's made at?

NeX can make one for you, and standalone arduinoboy units come up time for time in the market.

If you just want a plain ol' MIDI clock (to sync with a computer/drum machine/etc) you can try little-scale's Teensy tutorial.
It's $16 + a GB link cable.
Search his blog for the tut.

You can also try to get Oliver Wittchow's NLMIDI interface.
