i need the driver for a bleepbloop cartridge programmer. i also need it for ubuntu. my computer crashed super hard and lost all my .sav and had mgb on my cart at the time... now all my hard work on the future album are gone hmm someone want to help me find it? thanks! =]

Put drive in freezer for a day, and see if you can't get some data back that way. also as for driver/software just run the ucp files. it's the same as a USB cart that has no flash rom.

Yep, no shit... In his latest version he fakes the firmware version so it looks like the cartridge/programmer has firmware v 3.0, when in fact no such thing exists.

Anyway, you need the FTDI driver, which you can get here:

downloaded the folder. just little fyi, totally new to linux. how do i install the FTDI driver? it gives me a list of some files and thats it hmm
